Funeral Receptions & Memorial Services

Weekdays

Weekday (Monday - Thursday) daytime (10 am - 4pm) rates are:

$75 per hour 


Weeknight (Monday - Thursday) evening (4 pm - 9 pm) rates are:

$100 per hour 

Weekends

Weekend Friday - Sunday (11 am - 8pm) rates are:

$150 per hour with a three hour minimum 


Special Terms & Conditions

  • Prices include tables and chairs.
  • Can host up to 100 guests - please provide guest total in advance.
  • We will include white plastic tablecloths at no additional charge. Please let us know if you will provide your own linens.
  • You are allotted 1 hour prior to your scheduled time for Set Up. 

             (Friends, family, caterer and or florist can drop off 1 hour prior   

             to your scheduled time.)

  • You are allotted 30 minutes after your scheduled time to clean up and have everyone vacated at no additional charge.
  • Any additional time, you will need to request in advance.
  • The event center will not be open or unlocked prior to your scheduled event time. 
  • You cannot drop off or store items at the event center prior to your scheduled event time.
  • All events must have a signed contract and the security /cleaning deposit paid prior to being scheduled. 
  • No open flames allowed. All candles must be flameless. 
  • No alcohol is permitted anywhere on the premises.


Important Things To Remember

We appreciate your understanding that our venue is not licensed to host the remains of your loved one. 

We are only able to offer a space for a memorial service, celebration of life or funeral reception. 

No Alcohol Permitted - Thank you!

Deposits

Deposits Are Always Required Before 

Reservations Are Confirmed!

All Reservations must be made directly through 

Southern Events and not through a third party. 

Signed Contracts with the deposit must be made prior to securing your event.


Security & Cleaning Deposit Break Down:

  • Deposit of $75 is required 
  • Deposit is non-refundable
  • Events must be paid in full within 48 hours prior to the event.
  • No Refunds 


Cleaning Fee Breakdown

Our Cleaning fee for additional or excessive cleaning required after your event is billed at $50 per hour. 

Additional fees can be added for special cleaning requirements. 


In the event of an emergency, weather closing or an otherwise unexpected issue with the event center (beyond our control), your full deposit can be applied towards a rescheduled event or a refund can be offered. 


Damages and Excessive Cleaning

Any damages to the property inside or out, will be charged to the host that schedules the event. This includes, but is not limited to: excessive trash, violation of the rules including open flames, smoking, damaging floors, and or alcohol consummation on the premises. 

Additional Information

No Additional Charge

We have 3 large screen TV's that can display a tribute. 

We have a blue tooth speaker to play music from your devise. 

We have two clear acrylic podiums available for use.


We also have a wired or wireless microphone available upon request.


Amble parking lot across the street that can host up to 30 vehicles.   


Our space offers a small kitchenette (not available for food preparation) and two bathrooms, in addition to our spacious main hall.  


*Please remember that alcohol is strictly prohibited on the property during this event. 

Southern Events does not offer planning, catering or decorating.
