About Southern Events

Southern Events is proud to offer a locally owned and operated event space in the historic downtown Athens, Tennessee. We are in the heart of McMinn county surrounded by the beautiful foothills and mountains of east Tennesee. 

We are thrilled to provide a much needed space for locals to host continuing education classes, business meetings, award banquets, and more. Not every event needs a large venue. We specialize in the needs of our community for smaller, more intimate events such as showers, birthday parties, networking and association meetings and even family gatherings.

In the future we will be offering Micro Weddings and elopement packages.
